Lewis Hamilton says he “couldn’t be more excited” as he begins his new career with Ferrari in 2025.
The seven-time champion, whose contract with the Italian team began on January 1, said he was “taking advantage of new opportunities, staying hungry and moving forward with purpose.”
Hamilton took to LinkedIn to make his first comments since joining Ferrari, adding: “Let’s make this a memorable day.”
He wrote: “Coming to Scuderia Ferrari there is a lot to think about.
“To everyone considering their next move in 2025: embrace change.
“Whether you’re changing industries, learning a new skill, or even just taking on new challenges, remember that reinvention is a powerful force. Your next opportunity is always at hand.”
Hamilton also posted a photo on social media of himself racing a go-kart as a child wearing a red Ferrari-colored helmet.
